	TYPE OF WORK PREFERED: Movies, TV, Events / Promo, Theater, Other, Web, Voice-Over SPECIAL SKILLS / ACTIVITIES / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Roles as an extra or in reading/voice work are all I am interested in. I am not an aspiring actress. Scottish, soft accent that is much liked here in WV. Limited experience in the documentary film currently being fimed in WV, called Into The Wilderness. I played a captive white woman who screamed when a battle ensued between white rescue party and Indians. And I am playing another two minor roles with limited speaking, including an old woman, with help of make up to age me 20 to 30 years, as well as appearing in several other scenes as an extra. Special skills in Linguistics (Science of Language) and Sociology (BA Hons), and thoroughly enjoyed bringing up 4 sons, all now grown and independent, love my 2 grandchildren. I enjoy pets in limited numbers, either cats or dogs or both. I can get by in French, having studied the language modules only, first 2 years, of Glasgow (UK) University's French degree course, from 2004 to 2006, to keep my mind active and to enjoy the French language again after many years of not having the opportunity to practise it. Love reading, lots of walking, cycling, machine sewing, some knitting, amateur gardening, surfing the net. No opportunities for swimming in landlocked West Virginia, but used to enjoy sea swimming in the North sea off the east coast of England and in the Solway Firth off the west coast of Scotland. Voluntary work with people in vulnerable situations, employed (unqualified) in a variety of jobs e.g.nursing, assistant ESL teaching, shops, York Crown Court UK, assisting blind persons, some training in dyslexia aid. Good driver on both sides of the Atlantic. Married an American citizen in 2009. Not as adventurous as the original pioneers, but definitely having some adventures here! Lived in both country and city areas for long periods and appreciate both ways of life. Presently living on a 32 acre tree farm with apiary (bee yard). Average at most things, but that does not mean a lack of pleasure in them. I love to be alive, having survived life threatening situations and illness, bouncing back every time with faith in the Lord's ability and desire to heal, and encouraged by many Christian authors and speakers such as Stormie Omartian, Joyce Meyer and John Bevere. Not available for 2 weeks in November 2009 as we are visiting family in Scotland.
